Who We Are
Hq Hub was born out of the changing business landscape and the need for businesses to have access to great, cost-effective and elastic financial/commercial expertise in the every-day running of their businesses.
We found that book-keepers and traditional accounting firms weren’t, and still aren’t, filling this gap. Missing is the finance and operational expertise, execution and day-to-day assistance. Businesses need access to highly experienced, tried and tested CFO’s and finance professionals like us!
We're positioned between the traditional book-keepers and external accounting firms of this world. We’re not auditors or tax agents, and we don’t provide your traditional accounting services. Rather, we leave that to those who can do it best and work closely with them. We do what we love and we’re good at, focussing on effective financial management and scaling businesses from the inside out!
Our team of financial professionals has worked in finance for over 25 years and over that time we have observed how much leaner and smarter a financial department can be.
Our collective experience has seen us work across small, medium and large firms and ride out the highs and lows of the dot com boom, bust and then boom again.
Along the way we’ve built the financial functions inside many high growth businesses. For example, we helped one tech service provider grow from $10million to $70million over a period of five years.
We’ve worked with businesses here and offshore and have the experience of building and scaling organisations internationally, even on the smell of an oily rag! We have a solid understanding of the requirements in many international jurisdictions and have established partnerships to be able to support our clients.
Whenever we work with a client our motivation is always the same – to help them succeed. We love knowing we’ve been part of the journey, and a chapter or many, in the unfolding story.
And so far on our journey, our attention to detail, financial/commercial acumen, client care, execution and integrity has helped us be part of many stories and partnerships. And hopefully, many more to come!
